Some versions still have that ordering page with the warning pop-up, while the option is already missing from macOS Mojave.Įasily accessible prints aren’t exactly going away, however, but Apple won’t be the ones behind those image orders. The print orders have been around since the launch of iPhoto more than 15 years ago. The print service allowed users to order albums, photo cards, and calendars as well as prints up to 20 by 30 inches. The Photo Print Products section of the Photos app (previously iPhoto) now warns users with a pop-up that the built-in service is coming to an end. A new pop-up message inside Photos says that the app will stop taking print orders on September 30. Fitbit Versa 3Īpple is calling it quits on the printed photo and leaving prints from the MacOS Photos app up to third-party platforms. I intend to then copy those project files (say, via a thumb drive) between Macs in order to perform these tests. Since there is no UI for exporting a project, I want to know where these projects are stored in the filesystem. Instead, I would like to create a project in Photos on a Mac running macOS Mojave, export that project (say, to a thumb drive), and import it into Photos on a Mac running macOS Catalina. One way I could do this is to install macOS Mojave on one of the Macs, create a project, and then update that Mac to Catalina. One of the things that I want to fix is a problem that we see when upgrading from Mojave to Catalina. To do so, I have multiple Macs, each with a different OS installed on it. I am developing Motif for multiple versions of macOS (High Sierra, Mojave, and Catalina). Our Photos Extension properly uses the Photos and PhotosUI APIs to manipulate these projects, and Photos takes care of serializing our changes. For instance, one might right-click an album and create a new Book or Calendar. Photos requires that its Extensions operate through Projects. I have multiple machines on which I want to test my code. I am a senior software engineer working on a Photos Extension. I figured I'd ask here as well because I have much better experience on SE. They all said to ask on the Apple Developer Support Forums. I've asked Apple Developer Support, regular Apple Support, and high-level Apple Support.
